Saturday ITV Outsiders: ‘John Gosden runner looks way too big at 25-1’ 🗣

Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing Outsiders and he has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on Saturday. He is in red hot form with 40-1, 20-1 and 14-1 winners last month and he is confident that he can find the winner’s enclosure again soon. 2.40 Haydock

Copper Knight (20-1) is hit or miss but is electric when on song and with the Easterby stable flying, he could bounce back from a couple of tame efforts here. The speedball won at Chester in June and the handicapper is releasing his grip now with a rating back into the 90s, and he was only beat a nose in this race last year.

3.20 Curragh

It took him a while to get going but Bossy Parker (14-1) has found his stride, winning a nursery handicap over course and distance in August before following up in a Premier handicap at Cork. He enjoys a bit of cut in the ground and he should be able to put his course experience to good use. This is a hugely valuable pot and there’s no better man than Jonny Murtagh to line one up for it.

3.40 Newmarket

The Gosden yard won this in 2018 and 2019, and they have another live player in the shape of Magical Morning (25-1). In general it pays to have a high draw and this boy comes out of 22 so that’s ideal. He disappointed in Listed company at Pontefract when last seen, but is effectively 1lb lower than when successful at Doncaster off 105 in June, and the runner up Dhahabi won at Newmarket on Thursday to give the form a boost.
