Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing Outsiders and he has picked out three horses who should outrun their huge double-digit odds on Saturday. We have plenty of races to look forward to on terrestrial TV on Saturday, the pick of those being the Beverley Bullet sprint at Beverley Racecourse. Best of luck if you follow him, and remember, always bet responsibly.
Coming from the perfect stall on the inside in gate one, Proud Archi (11-1) is taken to get back on track and run a big race in the opener over 7f. He looks far too big a price to ignore at double-digits for a five-time course and distance winner. He didn’t run great here last time out but he had a wider draw on that occasion and if he can get out smartly, he has a solid each-way chance.
Bet Me (14-1) bolted up on good to soft here at Goodwood over 6f in June and with the ground deteriorating must enter calculations again here. The filly was fairly well beaten in fourth when stepped up to Listed class at Sandown in July but she might appreciate the return to this venue.
Richard Fahey is bang in form at present and it’s a surprise to see his runner Barbanera (25-1) at such odds with a good inside draw in gate four. She has disappointed in Listed company the last twice, but she was beaten less than two lengths in a Newbury Group 3 in April over 7f. Her sole win came on soft so this easier surface might also be a help.
