Aintree provided us with three days of excellent National Hunt racing this week and the Flat takes over on Sunday. ITV will be televising 11 races from Musselburgh and Leopardstown across the afternoon and the latter is hosting three Group 3 races.
Previous course form is always worth considering so we’ve selected three runners from Musselburgh and Leopardstown with proven track records and combined them into a treble. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Adonius (8/13, bet365) made his debut over course and distance last week and produced a very professional performance to win by a wide margin. Travelling strongly throughout on that occasion, he took up the lead with a couple of furlongs to go and kicked clear nicely, putting seven lengths between himself and the runner-up at the line.
Dorset (11/2, bet365) gets on well with Jack Cleary and he won a valuable sales race at the Curragh back in September. Going back up in grade next time, he came out on top in a course and distance Group 3. It bodes well that he showed progress at the back end of the season and he should do well as a three-year-old. Ryan Moore could be on the wrong horse.
Bellarchi (9/2, bet365) has won three of her four previous starts at Musselburgh and was victorious on her most recent course start last week. A 3lb rise should be fairly manageable, especially as this race looks a lot easier, and a follow up success could well be on the cards. Oliver Stammers knows this mare very well and is back on board today.
