Rachael Blackmore’s only ride has been smashed in at Cork this morning 🚀

A Plus Tard and Rachael Blackmore

Our resident horse racing man Adrian Wall has always been an avid market watcher. He has spotted a pretty large ongoing gamble taking place at Cork Racecourse today. Our free horse racing tips are also available every single day and we have been in good form the past month. Let’s take a closer look at the big gamble in more detail below.

4.40 Cork

Rachael Blackmore travels the not too lengthy journey to Mallow on Friday for just one ride at Cork in the opening extended 2m maiden hurdle for her retainer Henry de Bromhead. The horse in question is called Como Park and this horse has been backed from 11-2 all the way into now a top price of just 9-4, so clearly there is plenty of support in the market for this runner.

Como Park was a dual Flat winner when trained by Joseph O’Brien and the 4yo son of Camelot was a big eyetcatcher on his debut for his new yard at Navan in March. His first run over hurdles was full of promise and despite finishing fourth, it was in a field of 25 runners.

The form of that race has worked out very well with the winner winning since again on the Flat and the second has won twice since. Beaten just over three lengths on the day, that form looks very strong in the context of this race. With improvement quite likely Como Park has a great opportunity to get off the mark over hurdles for a powerful yard. Best of luck if you have a punt but remember to always bet and gamble responsibly.
