Peter Bowen sends one horse on 766-mile round trip to Sedgefield on Sunday 🚛

Welsh trainer Peter Bowen is sending one runner all the way to Sedgefield Racecourse on Sunday. Based in Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire in Wales, the total journey is roughly a 766 mile round trip.

Given the expense for fuel at the moment, it will cost a hefty sum to get this horse up to the northern track so they aren’t going for the fun of it, that’s for sure. Best of luck if you do have a bet on the horse and remember to always only bet what you can afford to lose.

2.40 Sedgefield

Easy Bucks will certainly be looking to live up to his name as there will be plenty of money floating about for this horse one would imagine. Likely to be favourite, he has been in brilliant form since coming back from a 14 month absence, finishing second at Perth and Fontwell before winning at Perth 24 days ago.

It is a long journey to Perth and you’d feel they would only cost themselves that much on expenses if it was worth the journey north. Anyways, north they go once again and Easy Bucks will carry top weight in this Class 5 handicap. He won a 0-120 when last seen but now drops into 0-105 company so he simply has to have an outstanding chance to follow up.

Peter Bowen is operating at an incredible 22 per cent this season already which is some return for a small yard. That strike rate increases to 24 per cent at Sedgefield in the last five years so clearly when he travels north he means business. Best of luck if you have a play and bet responsibly.
