With the weather claiming Kempton’s jumps card on Friday, the All-Weather is stepping in to host all the action. Southwell have the afternoon racing, before Dundalk host an evening under the lights.
I’ll be focusing on Dundalk, who host a competitive card on the Polytrack. I’ve found four horses who all have excellent chances and the Lucky 15 could return £14,510 if all four come home in front.
We’ll have horse racing tips for all the day’s action, but you can find my selections below!
Didn’t show much in a pair of starts for Aidan O’Brien but made a very promising debut for these connections over ten furlongs here last time. Doing all his best work in the closing stages, he was never-nearer than he was at the finish.
He’s entitled to take big step forward from that pleasing effort and if he does just that, he’s a strong each-way candidate in an open looking race.
Dual course winner who was too keen over course and distance on his most recent outing. He stuck on well, however, and finished a three-length third in a much better race than this.
Facing much easier competition today, he’s also a pound lower in the weights. If he does drop his head on this occasion, he has excellent claims under Declan McDonogh.
Consistent performer who has won six times on the All-Weather, most recently over seven furlongs at this venue. He was raised eight pounds for that, but he’s remained in good form since, latterly when a close second off a pound lower.
Stepping up to the mile is an interesting move as he’s unexposed at the distance despite being a winner over it. If he does improve for that, he’s one with excellent claims.
Returning from a 626-day absence with a very good sixth over course and distance earlier this month. She travelled powerfully into that contest and she’s entitled to take a big step forward in terms of fitness.
She can race off the same mark, with Jamie Powell taking a further seven pounds off her back. If she can back up that performance, even with the widest draw, she’s going to be tough to keep out of the frame.
