Wednesday marks day two of Royal Ascot and there’s a lot more world-class action to enjoy. This gives us plenty more opportunities to try and find some big price winners. Liam Bramall is back with three more outsiders whose prices aren’t an accurate reflections of their chances. Check out our Royal Ascot tips page for expert selections in every single race across the entire meeting.
We’re no strangers to American invaders at Royal Ascot as some of the best turf racing in the world is bound to have plenty of international flavour. U.S. trainer George R. Arnold II brings over impressive maiden winner Grand Oak (33-1, bet365). It would be a long way to come for just a day out and the booking of Colin Keane is a sign of intent. She looked fast at Churchill Downs and stayed the trip well. American juveniles can be more powerful than their European counterparts and she’s a massive price here.
Greatgadian (22-1, Boylesports) has progressed massively from three to four. He’s yet to taste defeat in two starts this season. Both of those wins came in competitive races at Chelmsford and he looks ready for an elite level handicap such as this. The second subsequently boosted the form of his last start by winning comfortably next time. Looks like one to keep on side until his limit is exposed.
Dubai Love (25-1, bet365) was third in the Sandringham back in 2020 off a 4lb higher mark. It was a good sixth on her return to Britain when not beaten far at Thirsk. That form has been boosted by the fifth and seventh winning valuable races since. Having been dropped a pound by the handicapper, she seems to have a much better chance than this gargantuan price suggests. She looks dangerous off this sort of mark.
