myracing Joins The Racing Post NAP Table

With Champions Day at Ascot behind us and the first meeting of the season at Cheltenham looming large this weekend, the Racing Post NAP’s table is changing over to the National Hunt season from Friday. For the first time ever, myracing have been invited to join the competition with our NAP of the Day.

What is the Racing Post NAP’s Table?

Each day more than fifty tipsters from newspapers (both national and local) as well as Attheraces and Racing UK pick their best bet of the day. Each one is given a theoretical £1 win stake on their pick, the tipster with the most profit at the end of the competition is declared the winner.

This is an excellent opportunity and one that we are excited about getting started with. It’s a chance to test ourselves against more than fifty other tipsters across the media gamut with results in the Racing Post every day as well as on the website. It will be the same selection on both the website as you will see in the Racing Post but the price won’t necessarily be taken at the same time as we put the NAP on the website. We will of course endeavour to make sure that we are quoting the same price but there will naturally be some days where the market moves and this is not possible.

The only real difference for followers may be a change in prices of the NAP. We have taken huge pride for a long time that we never tip up a NAP at odds on, this is something that we will endeavour to continue but there will be certain days (like Saturday for example) where a horse such as Cracksman in the Champion Stakes can be our best bet of the day at 5/6 rather than having to avoid him for being odds on. We had a 3/1 NAP winner on Sunday as well as a 9/4 NAP winner at Kempton on Tuesday night so we will continue to look for value for our followers.
