We always like to keep you updated with what’s happening in the betting markets with our daily market movers and sometimes there’s a significant gamble which is worthy of special attention. That could be the case on Monday as one runner at Kempton was as big as 16/1 on Sunday evening and 4/1 is the biggest price on offer at time of writing. We’ve had a detailed look at the horse in question’s chances below and highlighted our Nap of the day. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
All Under Control hasn’t shown a great deal in five starts over hurdles thus far but perhaps the switch of yard’s can facilitate a change of fortune for the five-year-old mare. She makes her first start for Robert Walford here and has been off since March.
Perhaps her most encouraging display was a solid fourth-place finish at Fontwell in February. The conditions were very different as the ground was heavy that day and the going at Kempton is good. Walford’s mare remains lightly raced however and improvement certainly isn’t out of the question.
Stepping up to an extended three miles here, she began her career in an Irish point over three miles so it’s feasible that the trip will suit. Clearly someone is expecting an improvement in form here and it’ll be interesting to see how she gets on.
Asta La Pasta won three of his six starts over hurdles and should be sharper for his chase debut at Ffos Las last month. He would have learnt plenty that day and a better jumping display is anticipated here.
