Ladbrokes Winter Carnival – Antepost Market Movers

The two day Ladbrokes Winter Carnival is on the 27th and 28th November 2020 at Newbury. Both days will be live on ITV racing and is packed fill of some top quality racing. Not only is there the Grade 2 Long Distance Hurdle on Friday but there is one of the most competitive handicaps of the season on Saturday, the Ladbrokes Trophy.

FRIDAY

3.00 – Ladbrokes Long Distance Hurdle

McFabulous has been the one for money in Friday’s feature. His price has come in from 3/1 into 9/4 and while that might not seem a huge move on the face of things, it is given that he is taking on Paisley Park and Lisnagar Oscar, the last two winners of the Stayers’ Hurdle!

3.35 – Play Ladbrokes 1-2 Free On Football Handicap Hurdle

Tom Lacey has his yard in good form and his Neville’s Cross has been the one for early support from 12/1 into 8/1. This is not the first time that he has been heavily supported, backed off the boards when winning at Hereford two starts back and again at Cheltenham last time.

SATURDAY

2.25 – Ladbrokes Committed To Safer Gambling Intermediate Hurdle

A very competitive handicap but Milkwood is the one for all the support, 10/1 into 8/1 with bet 365 and 8/1 into 6/1 with Betfair and Paddy Power. He was fourth to Sceau Royal in the Welsh Champion Hurdle last time out from the same mark. That winner and the third (Buzz) have both won since and the second filled the same spot in the Greatwood to suggest the form is very strong.

3.00 – Ladbrokes Trophy Chase

Kim Bailey landed a big double on ITV Racing at Ascot last Saturday and his Vinndication has been punted to give Bailey another big Saturday winner, his price moving from 12/1 into 7/1. He has smart efforts in Grade 1 company, including at the Cheltenham Festival and his form in November and December combined reads 11111.
