Jockey Focus – In-Form Riders For The Weekend + 156/1 Treble

After a busy week of racing action, things get even hotter on Saturday as Sandown and Beverley host some brilliant cards, including two Group 3s at the former and the Beverley Bullet at the latter. All of the big action is on ITV, and all our ITV Racing Tips can be found on site now! For those who like to follow the in-form jockeys, we’ve combed through all the statistics to help you pick out your weekend selections!

Jason Watson (Last Seven Days: 9/34)

Winning on nine of his thirty-four rides in the last seven days, Jason Watson has been in cracking form, with 35.29% of his mounts finding themselves in the placings too. He has a very good looking book of rides on Saturday, with his biggest chance looking to be Migration in the 2.25pm at Sandown.

He was a cozy winner over course and distance on his latest outing and although he faces tougher company, he looked to have something in hand on that occasion and should be in the shake-up.

Danny Tudhope (Last Seven Days: 6/28)

Having a stand0ut season thus far, Danny Tudhope has remained at the top of his game in the last seven days and arrives at Beverley for a stacked book of rides after winning two races at Newcastle on Friday.

Afraid Of Nothing shaped very well on debut when sixth at Newbury in a race that should throw up a couple of useful types. The form of Ralph Beckett’s yard only enhances her chances and with that experience under her belt, she looks to have a great chance to get off the mark.

David Allan (Last Seven Days: 7/26)

Rattling off a three-timer at Musselburgh earlier in the week, David Allan has hit a purple patch and has three rides at Beverley on Saturday, including a mount in the feature Beverley Bullet. Archimedes looks the best chance of his mounts, however, after winning over course and distance last Sunday despite a poor draw.

He’s been drawn poorly again, but he’s in the form of his life and has won off comparative marks in the past, so a big run is certainly anticipated.
