ITV Outsiders: 33-1, 25-1 and 25-1 contenders on a big day at Leopardstown 💥

There’s a quality card at Leopardstown on Wednesday and four of the races are live on ITV. There are two Grade 1 races which should provide some excellent entertainment. This provides us with numerous opportunities for some each way action. We’ve picked out three horses at huge prices that could outrun their odds. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

1.10 Leopardstown

Minella Times (25-1, William Hill) makes his seasonal reappearance over hurdles in a Pertemps Qualifier. Winning this race would make no difference to his chase mark which is a good reason to expect a good run. He was a little out of sorts last season but if he’s back and raring to go, he could be overpriced here. This obviously isn’t his target for the season but it’s a good starting point and his hurdles mark is 31lb lower than his chase one.

1.45 Leopardstown

Commander Of Fleet (33-1, Paddy Power) won a gruelling renewal of the Coral Cup at Cheltenham in March and looked like a dour stayer in the process. Should improve for his first start of the season at Navan over 2m4f last time and is likely to find this a much more suitable test. Pulled up in this race last year but that wasn’t a true reflection of his ability.

2.20 Leopardstown

French Dynamite (25-1, William Hill) is an interesting proposition, stepping into open Grade 1 company for the first time over fences. Ran a cracker in the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham last time out when denied by less than a length. Started the season off with a cosy win over hurdles at Thurles over 2m7f. A horse on the upgrade and we haven’t seen the best of him yet. Improvement is obviously needed but it would be no surprise to see this horse run a big one.
