ITV Cheltenham Outsiders: Adrian likes former course and distance winner at 50-1

Warthog

Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing Outsiders and he has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on Saturday. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips for the weekend, and remember, always bet responsibly.

2.05 Cheltenham

Organdi (12-1) finished third behind Peregrine Run at Worcester in August and that race has worked out well. The Irish winner has since gone on to win again on British soil, winning the Native River Handicap Chase. The selection was only three lengths off the classy old boy on that day, and he won at Warwick a month ago. Up another 5lb in the weights, it will be tougher, but the 10 year old will give it a good shot.

2.40 Cheltenham

With race fitness on her side, Bella Scintilla (8-1) could looks a huge price here for trainer Joseph O’Brien. Yes, she is taking on two very classy horses in Pied Piper and Knight Salute, but they both might not be anywhere close to full fitness. The French-bred mare won over 2m1f at Killarney on Irish debut 20 days ago and the second has won since. She receives lumps of weight here and is not to be discounted.

3.50 Cheltenham

Skandiburg (50-1) was a four time winner for Olly Murphy, including over this course and distance. Although he is not the horse of old, a big run could be on the cards here. He is now 2lb lower than when winning here a couple of years ago, and although he is very hit or miss now, a reproduction of his Warwick second back in March would bring him into things and at the prices he is worth a go for me.
