It’s another day of great action on ITV and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of outsiders. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on Saturday. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with 22/1 & 14/1 winners recently.
Dr T J Eckleburg (28/1) hails from the Evan Williams yard, a stable that has won this race four times since 2013 with Barizan, Ballyglasheen, John Constable and Silver Streak. This year’s hope is a course winner who gained his second 2m victory at Chepstow in February and was better than his finishing position would suggest when a solid fifth of 14 over 2m at Aintree handicap when last seen. It’s a surprise that he is such a big price for this.
Noodle Mission (40/1) had a stellar season last year for this yard, winning four times at trips ranging from 7f-1m on the all-weather or fast ground. His form petered out at the end of the season but he went close on his return last year which would suggest fitness shouldn’t be an issue here.
Houstonn (14/1) got off the mark in a 1m2f Windsor maiden on fast ground last July and was placed twice in handicaps off marks of 88 and 90 subsequently, including over this course and distance in August. He’s top weight here but runs from an attractive mark on his return from a break and conditions will suit.
