Sunday’s Goodwood card is looking particularly interesting. It’s a competitive meeting which should generate plenty of interest for a Sunday. We’ve selected a runner in each of the four best races and combined them into a massive accumulator. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Dora Penny (4-1, William Hill) has had a hugely prolific campaign. David Evans’ three-year-old has won five times this season including at Ffos Las last time out. Since her first win of the season, she has only ran disappointingly once and that was in a Racing League event. Bounced back to form in good style last time and another big effort is expected.
Solutre (9-4, William Hill) is a progressive juvenile who got off the mark last time out. The third and fourth have both won since, providing a welcome boost to the form. Has improved with every run so far and there’s no reason to suggest there isn’t further progress to come on handicap debut. Opening mark of 83 seems fair and back to back victories could be on the cards.
Goshen (11-4, William Hill) has had just two runs over 1m4f and one of those resulted in a 12-length victory. It was a demolition job at Brighton back in June 2019. His only other attempt at the trip came in the 2020 renewal of this race. He finished third that day and is now rated 1lb lower than that. Should improve for his latest effort at Goodwood over two miles and better is expected here.
Delorean (9-2, William Hill) will need to be forgiven for a rather disappointing effort at Haydock last time out but it’s easy to excuse one poor run. Still lightly raced with just five starts to his name so there should be plenty more to come. Worth giving another go against a pretty exposed field.
