How to watch every race at the 2021 Cheltenham Festival for free

Watching the big festivals is the pinnacle of excitement in the sport. While ITV Racing have the rights to show every single race at Royal Ascot, they are not able to do the same thing with the Cheltenham Festival. Punters could tune into Racing TV or place a bet with a bookmaker to catch a stream but in 2021, you won’t even have to do that.

The Racing Post

The Racing Post have an exciting new feature which will make watching horse racing easier than ever. You can now watch live racing without having to place a bet on all Racing Post operated products.

That includes the main website, racingpost.com, as well as the free Racing Post app which is ideal for when out and about. All you need to do is log into one of your bookmaker accounts and take a look for the eligible races which include every single race at the 2021 Cheltenham Festival.

This feature is only available on the latest version of the Racing Post app so head to the iTunes store or the Google Play store to update to the latest version if you have not already got the most recent update on your devices.

It really couldn’t be easier to watch every single race from the 2021 Cheltenham Festival live. Follow the instruction below and enjoy the best of the action from the four days in March that start with Champion Hurdle day on Tuesday March 16th.

• Log in to one of your bookmaker accounts via the accounts tab
• Go to a racecard. Eligible races will have a yellow “Watch live when the race begins” icon
• A couple of minutes before the race starts tap the red “Watch live now” icon and you’re off

Nearly all UK races are available to watch for free, however, racing from Chelmsford and Irish courses are not available and you’ll still need to place a bet to be able to view them.
