Hottest jockey in Britain travels to Bath for one big opportunity on Tuesday 🔥🔥

Jack Mitchell

We had another very good weekend of racing but it is now back to the bread and butter midweek action. After studying all of the cards and recent stats, I came across Jack Mitchell’s incredible recent strike rate.

Mitchell has ridden eight winners from his last 15 rides which is a 53 per cent strike rate. He travels to Bath on Tuesday for a good ride on a likely warm favourite.

3.30 Bath

Moving on to his sole ride at Bath on Tuesday, Mitchell has a glorious opportunity to continue his rich vein of form aboard likely favourite Overstate, who hails from the Tom Clover yard.

Overstate faces just four other rivals and ran out an eight length winner at Ripon over 1m4f eight days ago. That was without doubt a career best and it looked like the step up in trip along with fast ground and lenient mark caused the improvement.

A 6lb rise in the weights is more than fair and Mitchell was aboard last time. One thing you are generally guaranteed at Bath is a firm surface as it dries out very quickly so conditions should be absolutely ideal, as is the trip.

It is difficult to see which of his four rivals could beat him if he turns up in the same sort of form. Marco Botti’s Limited Ability is probably the most interesting rival on handicap debut with top apprentice Benoit de la Sayette booked for the ride. Best of luck if you have a play.
