It is not too often that ITV Racing have coverage of an entire card but that is exactly what we have to look forward to on Sunday. Every single race will be shown live on terrestrial TV which is great. York is a very specialist kind of track and horses who have won there before often rack up several wins on the course. That is why this 83-1 double there on Sunday is appealing. Make sure you go each-way if you are considering a bet and remember, always bet responsibly.
La Trinidad won back to back handicaps here at York last summer, including over this distance and was subsequently sent off joint favourite for the Clipper Logistics here, where he ran OK in ninth, not beaten far. Would have needed the run after a break when eighth here earlier this month and is a big danger to all if he brings his best.
Dakota Gold is a terrific servant to connections who gained his sixth course victory when winning a handicap here 11 days ago, seeing it out in gutsy fashion. Up 4lb for that but he is still running off a fair weight judged on past exploits so he could go in again.
The best bet of the day also comes in the opening race at York. Kihavah was a dual winner over hurdles this year, who was a big eye-catcher when sixth from not the best of draws at Chester’s May Meeting, before confirming that promise when scoring impressively over this course and distance 11 days ago. Up 7lb for that but is clearly thriving and is the one to beat.
