12.05 Lingfield

The opening bumper at Lingfield looks like a very hot race on paper, but it has to be interesting that Pat Murphy’s INFANTRYMAN has been backed from 100-1 into 25-1 and support has continued through the morning.

To make things even more interesting, top rider Harry Cobden has been booked for the ride and connections wouldn’t be booking Cobden unless they felt the horse had a glimmer of hope, that’s for sure.

Could Henderson have a right good one?

Looking at the head of the market, it will be fascinating to see how Nicky Henderson’s Kingston Pride gets on. He really impressed when winning his Irish point, and the form of that race has worked out very well. Back in second was The Enabler, who bolted up in a Listed bumper last month for trainer Gordon Elliott.
