It’s another day of great action and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of horse racing outsiders. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds at the Curragh on Friday. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with 22/1 & 14/1 winners of late.
Quadruple has had two dismal runs in Listed company this year but perhaps the combination of Colin Keane returning to the saddle and a return to handicap company will see her bounce back to form. A winner over a mile at the Curragh last year off 83, she was only just touched off from a mark of 89 at Navan in October and is now 3lb lower in the weights. First-time cheekpieces also go on so there’s every reason to believe we will see a better showing.
Verhoyen is a six-time course winner and although he has been below his best in recent starts, that should be reflected with an attractive price on offer. The Grassick-trained runner was third over C&D last summer from a mark of 82 and he’s 11lb lower in the weights now.
Folly Beach spent the second half of last year and the early part of this year hurdling but after three months on the sidelines, she returned with an eyecatching seventh of 20 on the Flat over 1m5f at Navan, not beaten far. She can be expected to come on for that run and has to be respected.
