‘He would win this if he showed his best form’ – Saturday ITV Racing outsiders 📺

Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing outsiders and he has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on Saturday. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips for the weekend, and remember, always bet responsibly.

1.50 Sandown

Lady Hamana (16-1) gets lumps of weight all round here and with a good draw in stall one, she might be able to upset the apple cart with everything in. her favour. Despite needing to find plenty more to win this race, she responded very well to the fitting of cheekpieces when winning a Listed race over this course and distance last time out and she should finish her race off to good effect again here. She is not to be discounted for a trainer who knows the time of day when it comes to improving a progressive type.

2.05 Haydock

Struth (16-1) put in a career best performance when winning a Chester handicap over 1m2f in May but that was on heavy ground. He ran well at Doncaster on his penultimate start but was far too keen out in front and paid the price in the King George handicap at Royal Ascot since. He’s worth another chance here.

3.15 Haydock

Teumessias Fox (12-1) will have the help from leading claimer Harry Davies and this horse improved off the back of a gelding operation this spring, landing 1m2f handicaps at Kempton and Newmarket, the form of which has been franked. He ran a poor race when favourite for the Duke of Edinburgh at Royal Ascot but he would win this if he shows his best form.
