‘He isn’t travelling over for the craic’ – Irish trainer sends one horse to Kempton 🇮🇪

Shane Crawley wouldn’t be one of more familiar trainers to the horse racing fraternity in Britain, but he is very capable. He has sent one runner to Kempton Racecourse in the past and the horse finished fourth. However, he has won on British soil twice already so anything he sends across the Irish Sea is always worth a second look. He isn’t travelling over for the craic.

It was a terrific month of November for the myracing tipsters, who finished the month with a healthy profit. We had a terrific month with our NAP of the Day and hope to get December off to a flyer with our best bet too.

5.30 Kempton

The feature race on the card is the Unibet Wild Flower Stakes, a competitive Listed contest over just shy of 1m4f. The Crawley team have booked James Doyle to ride Tartlette, who is a four time winner at Dundalk so this surface won’t pose any problems.

Tartlette is a five-year-old Champs Elysees mare and likes to be ridden with plenty of patience. Her last success came at Dundalk in a handicap off 90 back in February and she has run well in tougher company since.

She went very close to picking up some black type when fourth in a Group 3 at Dundalk in September. Crawley sent her over here for the Listed Floodlit Stakes in November and was only beaten a length or so into fourth, hampered at a crucial stage of the race. That was a tactical affair and she did best of those that were held up.

The free-going Fox Tal looks sure to make it a proper test for Tartlette here and with a good pace to aim at, she is a big player.
