Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing Outsiders and he has picked out several horses who should outrun their large odds on Friday. He has landed 40-1, 20-1 and 14-1 winners in the not so distant past. Best of luck if you have a play and remember, always bet responsibly.
Chris Gordon is in good form and I feel that his horse here is rather underestimated in the market. I’d Like To Know (14/1) bolted up on his racecourse debut in a Worcester bumper last month on heavy ground. The form of that race doesn’t look strong but he couldn’t have been more impressive. If he handles better ground, he is a serious player on hurdling bow.
Stage Star is an exciting prospect over fences for Paul Nicholls and may take some beating but if he doesn’t perform, Sebastopol (16/1) could be the dark horse in the race. He often travels through his race extremely strongly and can flatter to deceive, but he only found Sceau Royal too good at Kempton in October over hurdles and he wasn’t without support in the market for the Grade 2 Rising Stars when pulled up last time. He is worth another chance.
Didtheyleaveuoutto (12/1) is a quirky but classy individual on his day and now the first time blinkers are reached for to try to bring out a little bit of improvement. He was sent off favourite for a Pertemps qualifier here at this track 22 days ago but this bigger field should suit him better as he needs cover. He should be single digits to my mind so I am happy to have a play at the prices.
