2.00 Epsom

Our Nap of the Day runs in this contest and he’s very hard to beat, but if you are looking for a horse at an each-way price who might run a big race, look no further than Atherstone Warrior. Trained by Alice Haynes, the colt stepped up on his Brocklesby fourth when scoring at Thirsk in the mud over 5f in April. The second Arabie has given the form a nice boost, and he’s a much better horse than what he showed at Ascot when last seen. He’s worth another chance.

2.35 Epsom

Jason Watson and David O’Meara pop up in these good handicaps very regularly and they can strike with Bopedro. He is a very good handicapper at his best who was placed in the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket in the autumn and was a big eyectcher when third at York last time with a few of these behind. He’s well treated off his current mark and can run a big race.

4.30 Epsom

This year’s Oaks is wide open and given the year Karl Burke is having already, don’t rule out a big run from Making Dreams at a huge price. She bolted up in the mud in France in Group 3 company in April, bud didn’t run with any zest at all on slightly better ground at Longchamp when last seen. She has won on decent ground though and she would be a lot shorter for this if she didn’t run at Longchamp.
