It’s a two winner lead for Frankie Dettori, 7-5 over Ryan Moore as we head into the final day of Royal Ascot with the title of top jockey still up for grabs. Four winners on Thursday saw Dettori leap to the top of the leaderboard but can he finish the week with a bang on Saturday?
We have runner by runner previews and Royal Ascot Tips for all six races this afternoon.
Has already ridden a winner for trainer Mark Johnston at this year’s meeting and will be looking for another here. In-form, having won two of her last three starts, and despite stepping up to seven furlongs for the first time her breeding suggests it’s worth a crack.
Another ride for the Mark Johnston team. Yet to win this season, but has finished in the top five in her four starts, including a decent fourth in the Group Two German 2000 Guineas back in May over a mile.
Yet to finish out of the top three from his four turf runs and was an excellent third in the Group One Commonwealth Cup at this meeting last season. First-time blinkers are an interesting addition.
Course winner that was fifth in the 2017 and seventeenth in the 2018 renewals of this race. Gets in this year off the same mark as twelve months ago and heads here off the back of an impressive six-length winning romp at Nottingham.
Lightly-raced John Gosden-trained four-year-old that already has some decent middle-distance handicap form to his name. The big question is the huge step up in trip to 2m 5 1/2f (has never raced beyond 1m4f). If he does stay, then his proven flat speed will be a big asset in the closing stages.
