Goodwood is a rather unconventional track and it doesn’t play to the strengths of every horse. It’s Day 2 of Glorious Goodwood on Wednesday and there’s plenty of competitive action to sink your teeth into. In order to find winners, you’ll want to take every advantage you can get. We’ve found four runners with 100 per cent records at Goodwood and combined them into a monster each-way Lucky 15. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Barnwell Boy (10-1, bet365) absolutely bolted up on debut here over 6f and two subsequent winners have come out of that race. His draw gave him no chance in the Windsor Castle last time out and he’s better than his finishing position suggests. There should be plenty more to come and a big run could be on the cards.
Beenham (12-1, bet365) was a comfortable winner over course and distance on her second start. She had subsequent Group 2 runner-up Haatem behind her that day, which makes the form look strong. It was a fair effort behind an impressive winner in the Super Sprint last time out and she looks capable of getting into the mix here.
Never Ending (18-1, William Hill) got off the mark here over a mile on her penultimate start. She was a tad disappointing on handicap debut over this trip at Newmarket last time but the handicapper has responded with a 2lb drop in the weights. Very lightly raced still, the best is almost definitely yet to come from this thoroughly unexposed filly.
Urban Sprawl (8-1, bet365) won a valuable race over course and distance back in May. He currently finds himself on an 8lb higher mark. perhaps his best piece of form was his third in a Royal Ascot handicap on his penultimate start and he can bounce back from a below-par effort last time out.
