‘Experienced operator can’t be ignored’ – Havlin rides form 230-1 Haydock treble 💥

Robert Havlin on board Cracksman

Robert Havlin has been around the block and there are few wiser heads in the game. Haydock has been a particularly happy hunting ground for him so far this campaign. In 10 rides there this season, four have won which is an impressive strike-rate of 40 per cent. This experienced operator can’t be ignored and he takes three rides at Haydock on Friday evening. When combined, these rides form a 230-1 treble. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

6.17 Haydock

Sir Laurence Goff (13-8, bet365) makes his debut in a novice race over a mile. He’ll undoubtedly want longer trips in the long-run being a full-sibling to a useful stayer of Aidan O’Brien’s. The hint of soft in the going should help to make the race the strong test of stamina he’s likely to require.

8.02 Haydock

Makinitup (10-1, bet365) won a maiden and a novice as a three-year-old last season before struggling in two Listed races. It was also an absolute no-show on seasonal debut at Newmarket last time. However, the handicapper did drop her 2lb for that run which will help her cause here. Massive improvement will be required but she’s entitled to come on for the run. Lightly raced in handicaps so there’s a good chance we haven’t seen the best of her yet.

8.37 Haydock

Lunar Jet (7-1, bet365) hasn’t won for a while but is incredibly well handicapped on his best form. Last won at Redcar in November 2o2o off a mark of 90 and is currently on a 13lb lower rating. There’s a sneaking suspicion that he’s got it in him to win again and having such an experienced jockey will certainly help his chances.
