Epsom extravaganza: HUGE 278-1 Derby and Oaks each-way double this weekend 👑

This weekend is one of the most exciting on the flat racing calendar. The Cazoo Derby Festival at Epsom is home to two of the most prestigious and renowned races in the world. The Derby and the Oaks represent the pinnacle for three-year-old horses. Not only this, the winners of these races are immortalised and adored by the public for eternity. Liam Bramall has picked out two horses who he is convinced will run huge races and they form an absolutely massive 278-1 each-way double. Cazoo Oaks (4.30 Friday)

Thoughts Of June (22-1, William Hill) relished the step up to an extended 1m3f when winning the Cheshire Oaks last time out. Her jockey described her as a lovely big filly with improvement to come which certainly bodes well for her chances. Above The Curve was the well fancied favourite that day and she unable to pass Aidan O’Brien’s tough filly. She won a Group 1 in France at the weekend and this provides a substantial boost to the form. Stamina seems to be her forte so the extra half-a-furlong will play into her hands. All the evidence suggests that Thoughts Of June’s price looks far too big and she’s well worth an each-way play.

Cazoo Derby (4.30 Saturday)

One key trial winner who has gone under the radar in the market is Dee Stakes-winner Star Of India (22-1, William Hill). If there is a horse out there that looks more suited to a step up to 1m4f, I would love to see it. He began the season in the Craven Stakes over a clearly inadequate mile before winning at Chester over an extended 1m2f. Having done all his best work late, the Derby trip should facilitate plenty of improvement. The winning distance was stretching the closer he got to the line and I for one can’t wait to see him over the new trip when Saturday comes.
