Double gamble alert: two runners smashed into 12-1 and 8-1 from 25-1 and 18-1 🚨

There are two substantial market movers across Britain’s three meetings on Monday. Having been available at 25-1 and 18-1 on Sunday evening, sustained support has collapsed the prices of these runners. The first runs in the 3.45 at Carlisle and the second takes part in the 7.00 at Wolverhampton. This support is significant and it’ll be fascinating to see how they fare. 3.45 Carlisle

Fostered Phil has finished second and third on his two starts so far this season. He was 18-1 on Sunday evening and is now just 8-1. The negative would be that his seasonal debut was a better effort than his latest run. His penultimate start was his first for 723 days so it was a cracking effort to finishing second by three lengths after that absence.

Before that, he was last seen winning a Newcastle maiden hurdle back in November 2020. 110 looks like a very fair mark on what we’ve seen so far and he has to be unexposed. We have only seen him five times over hurdles, winning once and placing three times. Definitely deserves another go and it’s easy to justify the sustained market support.

7.00 Wolverhampton

Conservative is another lightly raced candidate, with just nine career-starts to date. The Conservatives are incapable of scoring any victories in government at the moment but perhaps their namesake can buck the trend. Scott Dixon’s gelding was available at 25-1 on Sunday evening and now 12-1 is the best you’ll get.

Most of his runs have been solid efforts, with a record of one win and five placed efforts. His sole win came at Southwell last March and that was immediately followed with a defeat by just a nose on handicap debut here. Slipping down the weights quite noticeably now and he looks well-treated on his best form.
