Derby day market movers: Jim Crowley ride all the rage at Epsom on Saturday 🏆

The big day is finally upon us and what a treat we have in store. Is Desert Crown going to be the next superstar on the blocks for Sir Michael Stoute? It has been a while since we have seen a proper star win the big Classic so we are long overdue one.

Make sure you check out our free Epsom tips on the website and our NAP of the day comes in the Derby so check that out too. Let’s take a look at where the early morning money is going this morning at Epsom.

2.00 Epsom

Oh Herberts Reign has been backed from 20-1 into 14-1 this morning. This Acclamation colt won three times as a juvenile and has run well in three handicaps this year. Only 1lb higher than when beaten a flared nostril at Haydock last month, he looks weighted to go close.

3.10 Epsom

All of the money has been for Mutasaabeq the past two days, backed from highs of 4-1 all the way into a best priced 2-1 now, halving in price. He won on reappearance at Thirsk and was a shade unfortunate when just touched off by Lights On in the bet365 Mile. Compensation awaits.

4.30 Epsom

There has not been any major market movers in the Derby, but the one that has shortened a tad and is worth monitoring is Godolphin’s Nations Pride. This horse was 8-1 on Thursday but is now best priced 13-2 and is 5-1 in places. Supplemented for the race and always a horse that William Buick has had his eye on, connections have won this race twice in the last four years.
