‘Course form here is a must’ – Lingfield specialists form monster 1,038-1 acca 🤯

Laura Pearson Furzig

There’s a bumper eight-race card at Lingfield on Tuesday and it’s likely to be very competitive. Lingfield can be a tricky track to ride as it’s on the sharp side. With this in mind, course form here is a must. We’ve picked out four horses who have proved themselves at the track and have excellent course records. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

11.40 Lingfield

Always Fearless (7-2, bet365) usually runs his race here at Lingfield with a win and four places in his six starts. His sole win came over course and distance back in January and it came off a mark of 70. This horse now finds himself on a 7lb lower mark. On this evidence, you’d have to think he would be capable of returning to the winners’ enclosure here.

2.20 Lingfield

Tequilamockingbird (6-1, bet365) is unbeaten here having won her only start at the track. That victory came over course and distance back in June. The well-beaten third that day has since boosted the form by winning two starts later. Ran a huge race in a Racing League meeting at Southwell three starts ago when finishing second by a length off this very mark.

2.50 Lingfield

Capricorn Prince (9-2, bet365) has an exceptional record here with four wins and a second in seven starts. His record over two miles isn’t quite as good but he was second over course and distance last time out. If he’s ever going to win at this trip, it’ll be here. Judging by his latest run, he should run another big race and this looks like a good opportunity to return to winning ways.

3.20 Lingfield

It’s hard to look past Come On Girl (5-1, bet365) here. She knows this place well, having had 13 starts on the all-weather track. Within those 13 starts, she has won four times and placed a further seven times. This means it’s a rare occasion when she doesn’t run her race. Her last win came here in August over this trip off just a 2lb lower mark. Second here over 7f last time out and the return to 6f can spark another victorious effort.
