Christmas crackers: Five Boxing Day stars form a 123-1 ante-post accumulator 🎄

1.05 Aintree

Farren Glory (5-1, bet365) announced himself with victory in the Grade 1 Royal Bond at Fairyhouse earlier this month. This could be a shrewd move by Gordon Elliott, as this race is likely to be far easier than the Grade 1 at Leopardstown over Christmas. Further top-level success could be on the cards here.

1.20 Kempton

Klassical Dream (3-1, Paddy Power) was by far the best of those over hurdles and he won the Champion Stayers Hurdle at Punchestown in April. Willie Mullins’ charge was very impressive on chase debut at Thurles last month and he looks like one to watch. There could well be more to come over the larger obstacles.

1.55 Kempton

Constitution Hill (1-6, William Hill) is probably the best horse in training and is set to make his belated seasonal reappearance. Nicky Henderson’s six-year-old is unbeaten in seven starts under rules and its hard to envisage the streak being ended here. The only slight negative is the lack of a prep run but that will make little difference.

2.20 Leopardstown

Facile Vega (8-13, William Hill) was very impressive on chase debut at Navan last month and he cosily beat the useful Inthepocket. Willie Mullins’ gelding is entitled to improve for the run and the Arkle second favourite is very much the one to beat.

2.30 Kempton

Allaho (7-4, William Hill) hasn’t tasted defeat since April 2021 and he’s an awesome two-time winner of the Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham. His comeback after injury at Clonmel last month confirmed he returns all of his ability and he’s rightfully the highest rated horse in this race.
