Can Aidan O’Brien dominate the Breeders’ Cup? Here are his three best chances 👇

Aidan O’Brien has firmly established his status as one of the best trainers of all time. A genius of a man, he breaks records wherever he goes. He already has 16 wins at the Breeders’ Cup and there should be plenty more to come. The big event takes place at Santa Anita on Friday and Saturday so we’ve highlighted his three best chances. You can check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf

Content was clearly well suited by the step up to a mile, when comfortably winning a Group 3 at the Curragh last time out. The pace should be a strong one and the way in which she saw the trip out last time is indeed a positive omen. O’Brien clearly thinks a lot of her as she ran in the Chesham Stakes whilst still a maiden and she could be progressive. It would be special for the late great Galileo if he can sire one more winner at the top level.

Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf

River Tiber looked special when winning the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot in June. This son of Wootton Bassett has been outpaced by the excellent Vandeek in two starts since. With this in mind, the significant step up in trip should be to his liking. It would be no surprise to see him run a huge race here.

Breeders’ Cup Turf

Auguste Rodin has had a rollercoaster of a season but the high points have been exceptional. He bounced back to win the Derby after a poor performance in the 2000 Guineas. Another below-par performance followed but he was back to his best in the Irish Champion Stakes last time out. It’s difficult to predict what we’re going to get from him here but he won’t be far away if on a going day.
