‘All four have big chances’ – The ITV accumulator the bookies fear on Saturday 😳

Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson

We are going to be promised some massive Cheltenham Festival clues on Saturday as some of the big guns come out from the fields to get their campaigns under way. The highlight is of course the Betfair Chase at Haydock Racecourse but we have plenty of action from Ascot Racecourse too. Check out our ITV Racing tips which are already on the website now.

There are four horses running live on ITV and if all of them win, the bookmakers will probably take a substantial hit. The accumulator can be backed using the ready made bet slip above.

1.50 Haydock

Hitman has an entry at Ascot too but he is more than likely going to run here at Haydock, avoiding L’Homme Presse. Paul Nicholls has won three of the last five renewals of this race with Clan Des Obeaux, Master Tommytucker and Bravemansgame. Hitman is a frustrating sort who has been placed at the top table four times, but he still should have the class to comfortably see off his rivals.

2.05 Ascot

L’Homme Presse disappointed at Aintree at the back end of last season but the ground was on the good side that day and he didn’t go on it. Last season, he racked up two Grade 1 victories and if he is anywhere near his best here, he should win comfortably.

2.40 Ascot

Constitution Hill is unbeaten in three starts and obliterated the field in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle. The form of that race has been franked by Jonbon, who he beat 22 lengths on the day. This exciting beast can win doing handstands.

3.00 Haydock

Protektorat has form on soft and heavy ground so can’t be dismissed but if A Plus Tard wins, the bookmakers could take a right pasting. Last year’s Gold Cup winner has been declared for the race he won last year, despite drifting out a bit during the week. If it doesn’t get too soft, he is going to take a lot of beating.
