1.50 Newbury

Solid Stone has been in fine fettle this year, winning a Listed race at Windsor in May beating Stormy Antarctic and Oh This Is Us who went on to frank the form. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained Shamardal gelding ran a solid race in third in the Wolferton at Royal Ascot and this progressive runner has leading claims.

2.25 Newbury

The Bahrain Turf Series Handicap is a competitive affair but the top weight Mildenberger could have the class to win. Mark Johnston’s tough and classy sort only runs in handicap company for the third time in his career off his lowest mark yet. He was only beaten three lengths in the Northumberland Plate from 5lb higher last month and looks very well treated now on the pick of his form.

3.00 Newbury

King’s Lynn was a nice winner of a Listed race at Haydock in May over 5f and was then well backed from big prices for the Group 1 King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot. He could only finish 7th but he ran a cracker back in handicap company off a tough mark in the Wokingham last time. On both occasions he met trouble but he can make amends here.

3.40 Newbury

Chipotle is in the form of his life at present and will take the world of beating in the Super Sprint if anywhere near his best. The Havana Gold colt has won three of his four career starts, his only blip coming at Sandown on soft ground. He has no such ground worries here and beat 26 other runners comfortably at Royal Ascot last time out.
