5.20 Exeter

Seaside Girl (7-4 at the time of posting) was a nice winner at Fontwell on chasing debut in August. She returned to good form with a Huntingdon second last month and leading claimer young Brogan takes over in the saddle. Obvious chance.

6.10 Bath

Warne’s Army (15-8 at the time of posting) is a four-year-old Fast Company filly who has been in good form of late and this represents a glorious opportunity to notch up her second career victory for in-form trainer Mark Johnston. She was narrowly denied at Pontefract when last seen and this small field may play to her strengths tactically as she could dominate from the front.

6.20 Exeter

Delight Of Dubai (10-3 at the time of posting) is very interesting here. A small field go to post for this handicap and it can go the way of Noel Williams’ runner. She ran very well for a long way on reappearance at Ludlow last month on just her second start over fences. Now dropped 2lb for that effort and with the cobwebs blown away, she should be primed for victory.

7.40 Bath

Quarry Beach (7-2 at the time of posting) can land the double. She improved massively for the change of scenery, having her first run since leaving Harry Dunlop when winning a 14-runner handicap over this course and distance earlier in the month. A 5lb rise in the weights isn’t harsh and he should be bang there again with more improvement on the cards.
