83-1 horses for courses treble: former course winners form tasty bet on Thursday 🐎

Course form can be absolutely crucial when looking for a winner. If you know your way around a place, you are going to have an advantage over somebody who has never been there before. The same applies to horses – knowing your way around a venue is always a big advantage. Adrian Wall has picked out three former course winners running across Britain and Ireland on Thursday. The treble returns great odds of 83/1 at the time of posting. Best of luck if you have a play and check out our free horse racing tips on the site.

3.25 Hamilton

Shine On Brendan is a former course and distance victor who got back to winning ways when landing a 12-runner handicap at Musselburgh this month. He is just 2lb higher in the weights now so the handicapper has been rather lenient and he has to be a player again. Jim Goldie’s stable is also in terrific form of late which is a help.

5.05 Worcester

Captain Ivan is a very progressive horse who has won three of his last four starts, following up his Southwell win with another win at Perth last month. The handicapper has only raised him 2lb so he could go in again for a yard who is very good at improving a horse massively.

7.25 Leopardstown

Alfred Munnings bolted up here in a maiden on debut last year before disappointing when sent off a warm order for the Chesham at Royal Ascot. He probably just needed the run off the back of a long break when well beaten in third in the International Stakes recently but we should see a more strengthened horse now.
