8.41pm Crayford Race Preview 29/12/2017

Greyhound Image - Crayford

The final run of a successful 2017 for Jose who has proved to be a great buy for the syndicate despite being relatively cheap. A winner already at this A2 level, he has run in three opens for us, including a two round competition final. Our greyhound tips will be on the site by 6.00pm tonight for Romford. Let’s break down Jose’s A2 task for this evening.

8.41pm Crayford 29/12/2017 A2 Grade

Yahoo Esther – Winner of her last three starts at A3 grade, she is 0/10 when competing at this level. She has plenty of early boot and from a perfect draw should turn handy, a bit of trouble behind looks needed for her to hold on however.

Droopys Jimena – Two months since she was last seen in action when picking up a top grade affair over six bends. She was an impressive A3 winner in September, beaten the only time she has tried this grade. Will need a little luck to pick her way through.

Reagrove Aero – In front of Jose when they met before Christmas, she was sent off the 5/2 favourite there. She couldn’t get on the bunny and dominate on that occasion as she did when climbing through the grades and may be denied that luxury here as well.

Snowdon Hobo – Yet to race here, an impressive winner of a trial last time. He won’t be able to get on the bunny with a 3.64 sectional here given the early pace that surrounds him so a repeat of that smart 23.59 could be tricky to achieve.

Meenagh Mourinho – Missed it last time back from Nottingham, hopefully will be right on things here. Has the early pace in the locker to go to the bend with the best of these, he just needs to be right on his game at lid rise.

Kerstin Boy – Unable to clear Jose despite him missing the kick last week, he found trouble at the bend. Unexposed enough to think that he is capable of wining in this grade but drawn to the outside of Jose once more suggests his chance is slim.

Conclusion

Another tough assignment for Jose from the orange jacket but a second run in a row at Crayford suggests he might be more on his game when the lids open than he was last time. He arguably has a reasonable draw here with the 4 having his first run at the track and the 6 unable to clear Jose last time when our hound missed it. 3 went off favourite in that race and likely will here but she may not find it easy to clear the 1 in a race where clearing the bend without trouble is going to be crucial.
