77-1 RPR top-rated accumulator for Plumpton on Sunday

It’s a lowkey day of action on Sunday, with just the three meetings on the docket. Listowel, Hamilton and Plumpton are the venues in question and we’ll have horse racing tips for all three.

We’ll be focusing on Plumpton in the article, however, whose seven-race card stages plenty of competitive racing. If you like following the statistics and trends, then we’ve found three horses who are clear on RPR ratings. Together, they make into an 77-1 accumulator and can be found below!

2.40 Plumpton – Friends & Family Remembering Norman Sharpe Handicap Hurdle

A competitive little contest with just six pounds separating the entire fields on RPR ratings. It’s Constancio who comes out on top, however, and looks to return to winning ways for the red-hot Donald McCain yard.

The stable is 6/16 in the last two weeks and this eight-year-old was a course and distance winner last October off a mark of 120. He races off the same rating today and his recent efforts have been encouraging, not beaten far in defeat last time in a much more competitive race. If he can replicate that sort of form here, he’ll be tough to stop.

3.10 Plumpton – Peter Earl Memorial Handicap Chase

Paul Nicholls is in predictably strong form and Dogon looks for a third chasing victory. His recent form has been a shade disappointing, but he’s just one-pound above his last winning rating as a consequence.

He’d likely prefer a softer surface, but he can go well on a sounder one and he’s extremely well-treated based on his hurdling exploits. Bryony Frost will get him jumping and he’s a solid contender from the top of the ratings.

3.40 Plumpton – Strong Flavours Catering Juvenile Hurdle

There are two clear on ratings in this contest, but The Yellow Mini is the top-rated horse, three pounds away from the rest. Rated just 46 on the flat, she overcame odds of 16-1 to make a winning hurdling debut at Fontwell earlier this month.

That wasn’t the strongest of contests, but she pulled clear in good fashion and should have plenty more to offer in this sphere. Michael Wigham is 2/5 in the last four weeks and there’s plenty to like about her chances.
