The middle of the three runners on Friday night at Crayford is Jose who ran a huge race at Nottingham on Monday to qualify for a sprint final so he will be back off to the Midlands for another race next Monday. Our greyhound tips will be online by 6.00pm tonight, let’s break down Jose’s task.

7.53pm Crayford 15/12/2017 A2 Grade

Stonebreaker – Managed to get the lead at the opening turn off a 3.65 sectional in an A3 last month, but it’s no surprise he has struggled a little in a pair of A2’s. Doesn’t look good enough to get involved in a clean run race.

Swift Thruxton – An old foe of the syndicate, she is a strong runner at this trip beating Jose in an A4 and an A3 on her way through the grades. She is rock solid when it comes to consistency and should lead up the 1, a big player.

Arabian Sand – Took the notable scalp of Razldazl Raidio last time out in an open hurdle here on the 2nd. He has picked up three wins on the bounce, including an impressive A3 score in 23.60. Needs more but is in good heart.

Raymonds Return – Rattled through the grades in the autumn, winner of his last two runs in this grade, he has finished runner-up in an A1. He doesn’t have a regular turn of early so needs a bit of luck if missing it, but he is a very strong runner at this trip.

Tenlee Babe – Has been on a roll this autumn since winning an A6 less than two months ago. She missed the trouble behind her to land a wide margin win in an A3 last time, she will need more but she may not be done improving yet.

Meenagh Mourinho – A winner in this grade in the heats of an owners bonus series, he has been knocked over in the final since before qualifying for an open sprint final at Nottingham. He has a lovely looking draw tonight if the trip away has done him good.

Conclusion

Jose has been an absolute star for us, metronomic in his trapping and finish times, he picked up a win in this grade 3 starts ago. He has the early pace to clear these tonight if the trip to Nottingham hasn’t messed with his timing and from there it’s seeing if the 2 or 4 can wriggle clear of the pack to chase him down.
