6.26pm Henlow Race Preview 21/01/2018

Greyhound Racing Tips - Crayford

Already the fourth run of 2018 for Hyde, making up for the time lost at Crayford in no uncertain manner. He has blue on his back which isn’t an ideal draw, but having got a downgrade last week, he is well capable of winning in this grade when things drop right for him. It’s been a decent week on the greyhound tips, let’s check out Hyde’s task for this afternoon.

6.26pm Henlow 21/01/2018 A6 Grade

Millys Nye – Four of her last seven runs she’s clocked in the 28.30’s, that reads well in the context of this grade. She smashed the lids last week, a rarity for her so we need to hope that she misses it again to give Hyde a clearer run to the first turn.

Droopys Hyde – Has done well since moving to Henlow, getting a rough ride the last twice when not making the bend. He has a decent break in his locker but will need to be on his toes if he is to clear the 1 on the run to the bend, if he doesn’t do that then he’s in trouble.

Volantes Azul– Youngster has plenty of early boot, twice a winner in A7 grade of late. She is going to be a massive issue for Hyde heading to the bend as she seems sure to deny him an early sight of the hare, but she doesn’t have the times to compete at the end.

Mustang Tiara – In front of Hyde last time out, producing by far her best run at the track. She was a solid enough performer in mid grades at Perry Barr so she has a solid chance to improve still further if avoiding the 3 on the run to the bend.

Corfu Artemis – Three wins from her last four starts, the veteran has been in flying form. She stays this trip very strongly and is regularly found taking more than her market share. A big player if she were to turn handy to the pace.

Suirview Betty– Still learning this quirky track but has shown some solid early pace so far. Was as high as A2 at Perry Barr last year, so she has the ability to be a couple of grades higher than this once she has clicked. A slow starter in 5 looks a big help.

Conclusion

Not the strongest A6 ever run round here, but equally not one that seems set up to Hyde’s advantage. He has a much quicker starter in 3 and one who hit the lids last time inside. He has the end times to beat them both if he were to come away on terms, but if getting behind then he could be in trouble. 6 has a slow starter inside so she should be well to the fore early, a decent hound at Perry Barr, she could be the one to beat.
