5.37pm Crayford Race Preview 06/09/2018

Crayford Greyhound Racing

Just the one dog running today for the myracing.com Greyhound Syndicate at Crayford. Droopys Nuka looks to put a couple of lacklustre efforts behind her and return to the sort of form that seen her winning a trophy for the syndicate a few weeks ago.

Today’s preview comes from one of our syndicate managers, David Mitchell.

Today’s Syndicate Runner

Trap 6 Droopys Nuka – Not really getting the rub of the green at present but last week was a step in the right direction. She was a little unfortunate to get into a spot of trouble after what was a nice break. If she could reproduce that bit of early she’s more than capable of running a nice race here.

Today’s Opponents

Trap 1 Organised Chaos – Drop in grade today which was needed after a couple of really poor efforts. He’ll find this a little bit easier but he’ll really need to go some to get involved in this. He’s good enough but for us unless everything falls right he shouldn’t be trouble the main protagonists.

Trap 2 Corgrigg Runaway – Won with any amount in hand last week and that effort was really good in the context of this race. He’s definitely the type of dog to follow whilst the iron is hot and for us it looks red hot at the minute. He would be the one to beat in this field and if he reproduces his latest effort he’ll go really well.

Trap 3 Hatfield Derek – Seems to like playing bridesmaid in recent weeks could today be his big day. Has some nice early and is consistent, if he could get a split from the boxes he would be able to serve it up to trap two but will he be good enough to take it we’re not sure. Chance.

Trap 4 Special Fli – Lack of early has really cost this dog in the past and it could be the same old story here. Recent form is littered with crowding and there’s no reason to think that’s going to change in this field today. If she did get clear of them she could go well but for us she’s just not got enough early boot to challenge.

Trap 5 Altesse Arrogate – A kennel-mate of Droopys Nuka and I’m sure the kennel will feel they have a better chance with Nuka in this race today. Has some nice early when it all clicks but recent form is a concern. Until he shows something more on the track you’d be wanting to avoid.

This doesn’t look the easiest race for Nuka with T2 and T3 looking to be the main dogs in this field. She is capable but she’s gonna need a flyer to really take control of this race early. They’ll be better chances in the future for her, today she might have to pick up the pieces.
