40-1 accumulator: three ITV horses who will love fast ground at Epsom on Saturday 🚀

Epsom Racecourse

We have had a great spell of weather so the ground at Epsom Racecourse is forecasted to be good to firm this weekend. ITV Racing action gets under way there at 12.50pm on Saturday and Adrian Wall has found three horses that should all relish the fast conditions. Please note that the ground can change rapidly so be sure to check that the ground is still fast come post time before you place your bets.

12.50 Epsom

Highland Avenue had a poor year last term but he returned to action with an eyecatching run when third in the Gordon Richards Stakes at Newmarket. The second that day, Anmaat, has since won a Group 1 in France so the form looks very strong. Charlie Appleby’s runner was only half a length behind Anmaat on that occasion and he has winning form on good to firm.

1.30 Epsom

Sir Michael Stoute’s Passenger in my view would have won the Dante only for what has to be called a poor Richard Kingscote ride on the day, and he can make amends in the Derby. The ground on Dante day was firm and he handled it really well, travelling all over his rivals and visually looked a winner a long way from home. As ever, he may encounter traffic problems at Epsom too but he has a huge chance.

2.10 Epsom

This race looks like a match race between Popatova and Prosperous Voyage on paper, but the latter is the one who has proven form on a fast surface. She hated soft ground on her return to action but down in grade and back on fast ground should have too much class for these.
