A touch disappointing in the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot, the fast ground that day won’t have been his optimum and with the tapeta surface riding slightly on the slow side, conditions should be perfect for James Tate’s sprinter.

Outsider to Watch

In a wide open handicap, Paddy Power can prove better than his big odds suggest at York. He’s had somewhat of a resurgence this campaign, winning twice in his last four starts and running well last time over an insufficient trip on ground softer than ideal.

Back up to six furlongs today off the same mark, this previous course and distance winner is still fairly handicapped on his past form and can make Noel Garbutt’s only ride at York a successful one.
