4 heavy ground horses for Naas make a £5,864 each-way Lucky 15

Karawaan winning the Irish Lincolnshire at Naas 2019

When the ground gets deep on the flat at this point of the season, it’s wise to look for those with wins under similar conditions. It’s going to be heavy at Naas on Sunday so we’ve put together an each-way Lucky 15 which pays £5,864 with bet365 at time of writing.

Sunday also sees cards at Carlisle, Lingfield, Huntingdon and Cork. We will have free horse racing tips for all five cards on the site.

1.00 Naas – Tally-Ho Stud Irish EBF Birdcatcher Premier Nursery Handicap

Deep ground in the autumn has been the making of Mister Wilson. His two wins have both come with the word heavy in the going description, showing plenty of pace over seven furlongs. The drop to six shouldn’t inconvenience on such a stiff track, especially not with conditions perfect for him.

1.35 Naas – Kessaar Handicap

Earls won this race last year on heavy ground, both wins so far with heavy as part of the going. He is only a pound higher than his 2020 win and has been running consistently well over a variety of trips of late. The ground makes him a big player once more.

2.45 Naas – Safer Gambling Race

The last twice that Saltonstall has encountered heavy ground he has won, including a Listed race over this course and distance last November. He’s been kept busy over the summer but he is well treated at the weights for this contest, bringing the strongest form to the table.

3.45 Naas – Colm White Bookmaker November Handicap

De Name Escapes Me is another to arrive at Naas looking to double up in a race he won in 2020 on the same heavy ground, a winner on soft/heavy over hurdles as well. He landed this from the same mark last season so despite now being an eleven-year-old, he looks well set for another big run.
