3.07pm Henlow Race Preview 04/02/2018

Greyhound Racing Tips - Crayford

A £1,000 final for Hyde on Sunday afternoon. Didn’t get the job done in the same way that he can when last in one of these sweepstake finals and has a tricky draw on this occasion. Our greyhound tips will be on the site before 6.00pm tonight from Towcester and Poole. Time to see if Hyde can bring home a four figure pot for the syndicate.

3.07pm Henlow 04/02/2018 A6 Grade

Westmead Jazz – Ex A3 Monmore hound, she has already got off the mark here, in the heats of this competition last week. She isn’t blessed with flying early, but she has enough to trouble Hyde if he doesn’t smash the lids as he did in the heat.

Droopys Hyde – Produced the run of his life when winning his heat last weekend, a flying sectional saw him produce a very smart 28.00. That’s only the second time in thirteen looks at the track that he has ducked under 3.80 as a sectional so is no good thing to repeat. If he can get round in front, he is the one to beat on last weeks display.

Firgrove Beauty – Couldn’t cope with Hyde in the heats last week but that was her best performance at the track. She is yet to really settle in at Henlow so is open to further improvement once she is.

Savana Mo – Sent off favourite for all three of her races so far, she has the most consistent early pace in the contest. She is by far the most lightly raced but is going to have to step up again if she is not to get run down by the 2 as she was in the heats.

Savana Biddy – Split the 2 and 5 in the heats but only a head separated the three of them. She is only a July ’16 whelp so should have bundles of improvement to come. She lacks early pace but she may swoop late for the pot.

Conclusion

Hyde is the quickest qualifier for the final but he certainly isn’t a reliable entity to go out and repeat that when the pressure is on, If he does come away in the same fashion again however he is very much the one to beat. There was only a head between the 2, 5 and 6 in the heats with all of them young enough to be open to improvement. 5 looks the most likely leader, with 2 and 6 both well capable of picking up the pieces if the leaders stop in front of them.
