5.25 Tipperary

Nebo hinted that a win could be just around the corner when an eye-catching fifth at the Galway Festival and he made no mistake at Gowran next time out, making all from the front and clearing away in the closing stages. There was a strong pace bias at Gowran on the day so it paid to be prominent but if he gets a soft lead again here he will be hard to reel back in.

6.00 Tipperary

There has been two British trained winners of this race in the last four years and Archie Watson’s Parent’s Prayer has excellent claims in this year’s renewal. The well bred Kingman filly won a Listed race at Naas last October on heavy ground and was an impressive winner of the Group 3 Princess Elizabeth at Epsom in June. She wouldn’t like the ground to dry out much more but she drops back down in class after a solid run in Group 1 company in France.

6.30 Tipperary

It can often pay to be drawn high at Tipperary when there is a bit of juice in the ground so Harry’s Bar could have what it takes to land the spoils. Ado McGuinness’ gelding found one too good over 6f in handicap company at Dundalk last time out, travelling like a dream but just run out of it in the closing stages. He has the speed for 5f so the drop back down in trip could suit.
