We landed an Acca on Tuesday for £113 Profit – read all about it here – and our followers didn’t have long to wait at all as we landed another accumulator for £162 profit! Unbelievable, what a way to finish the month! Five accumulator tips landed for a total of £466 profit for staking just £300 in total, and all our tips are free! We kicked the acca off with Mithqaal, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa. A good 3rd at Doncaster last time out, he was only raised a pound for that run and in a much weaker looking race we thought he was excellent value at 5/2 being stepped up a furlong. The front four pulled clear and SDS timed his challenge perfectly, asking him for his effort two furlongs out – before both Four Poets and Anastazia – and he stayed on nicely to pick up the lead and just hold off second favourite Hollywood Road to kick us off with a big price winner. Up next was the NAP, Gordon Lord Byron. One of the best known sprint horses, this 8 year old is an absolute star for Tom Hogan having won 14 races. He’d been out of form his last three starts but this was a massive drop down in class from Group and Listed company to a €7,000 race at Tipperary, and the withdrawal of the second favourite General Macarthur meant our 11/8 looked great value with Elleval being out of form and not in quite the same class bracket, plus probably wanting further. The difference in speed showed and our boy managed to show his speed, clawing back Elleval to win narrowly. That took us on to the final leg of our accumulator, and after the Rule 4 applied to Leg 2 we stood to return a huge £172 still! Fort Jefferson won as he liked last time out and was strong in the market, backed into just 4/5 at the off. He travelled beautifully into the race and in all honesty two furlongs out we were nearly counting our money already as all the other horses were under heavy pressure. However, Beleave – who had played up before the race – kept finding for pressure and our boy didn’t pick up quite as quickly as he had promised to. Just when it looked like our chance might be dead though he started clawing ground back and snatched it in a photo on the line to huge cheers from our tipsters!
