£15,000 Hamilton Lucky 15: Top jockey at the track has four Tuesday rides

Hamilton Racecourse

Daniel Tudhope is one of the top Flat jockeys in Britain and he has four interesting rides at Hamilton Park Racecourse on Tuesday afternoon. Tudhope has an incredible 47 per cent strike-rate at the Scottish track this year so essentially nearly half of his rides have been winners. His mounts are all juicy prices on the card so one winner alone should guarantee money back at least. Prices are with William Hill and the Lucky is done to a £1 unit stake.

1.45 Hamilton

Tudhope’s first ride is on Fighter Pilot for trainer Kevin Ryan. Ryan has hit terrific form of late so the opening price of 12-1 might not last too long. This horse has been disappointing since winning at Nottingham back in April but he is only 1lb higher now and the first-time cheekpieces are reached for.

2.15 Hamilton

Quanah has the dream draw over the flying 5f here coming from stall one and may well make that good rail draw count. Tudhope has partnered this horse for all four career wins and although the horse is on a losing run of 15, course form figures of 41154262 show he is to be feared around here.

3.25 Hamilton

Without doubt Tudhope’s strongest chance of the day, at least on paper. Hughie Morrison’s Legendary Day has a very progressive profile, winning back to back at Nottingham and Leicester in the summer before running a belter from a revised mark of 83 at Newmarket last time out. Big player from the same mark.

4.00 Hamilton

The last of Tudhope’s four rides is aboard Framley Garth for trainer Liam Bailey. This horse is very hit or miss and it is n shock that he has gone 28 runs without success. However, he took a step back in the right direction when third at Ayr last time, is a former course winner and is off an attractive mark now.
