14-1, 7-1 and 5-2 tips: three horses with a low draw at Beverley on Tuesday 🐎

Beverley has arguably the most severe draw bias of any track in Britain, especially in shorter races. There are plenty of runners at the track on Tuesday and this makes the draw even more important. With this in mind we’ve picked out three horses that are drawn low at Beverley on Tuesday and should therefore have a huge advantage over their rivals. 2.25 Beverley

Northern Prince is drawn in stall three and he also has the benefit of a previous run under his belt, which could be invaluable. He weakened in the final furlong when running well for a long way and eventually finishing fourth over course and distance on his debut last time out. Improvement seems likely and he should be able to muster up a stronger finishing effort this time around.

3.oo Beverley

Carry On Aitch put in a career-best effort on her final start of last season over 5f at Yarmouth. You can forgive a below-par effort at Chelmsford last time as she may well have needed the run on seasonal debut. The drop in grade should suit and she’ll never get an easier opportunity than this particularly weak-looking seller.

3.35 Beverley

The Dunkirk Lads did well to win from an unfavourable draw over course and distance last time out and the handicapper has responded by putting him up 4lb. This leaves him on a mark of 72 which should be manageable, on the evidence of his four-length win off a 1lb lower mark last June. There’s every chance he can follow up with a better draw this time.
